roasted tomato salsa Recipe

Things you will need:

  • 4-5 fresh tomatoes.
  • 1/2 cup of lime juice.
  • 1 chopped red onion.
  • 1 cup of chopped cilantro. 
  • 1 tsp of black pepper.
  • 1 tsp of salt.
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder.
  • 1 tsp of cummin.
  • 1 tsp of chopped fresh garlic.
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • Food processor or blender



Instructions:

  1. Cut tomatoes and onions in to wedges.
  2. Mix vegetables in bowl with oil to coat the vegetables.
  3. Place vegetables on a baking sheet and sprinkle with seasonings.
  4. Roast in oven at 350 degrees, until vegetables start to turn brown and roasted.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool.
  6. In food processor/blender add vegetables, lime juice, fresh garlic, and cilantro.
  7. Blend until smooth.
  8. Pour into bowl and eat with chips
  9. ENJOY!
